Weinheimers Descendant Continues Family Tradition!

5 th Generation Family Member Opens New Kitchen Design Center!

The Weinheimer name was synonymous with kitchen and home remodeling for more than 100 years. The Town of Tonawanda store finally closed in the year 2000, ending a business John F. Weinheimer began in 1888.

Now, Rachel Leo, a fifth generation descendant of the founder, has resumed the Weinheimer tradition, with the opening of ELEGANT KITCHENS BY DESIGN...a new kitchen design center in the Town of Wheatfield.

ELEGANT KITCHENS BY DESIGN brings to homeowners the finest in kitchen cabinets and countertops, along with the talents of someone who has been in the kitchen design business her whole adult life.

Rachel Leo worked at Weinheimers for her father before, after, and during her collage years at Bowling Green University, where she majored in Interior Design.

After several years working for another kitchen company, Rachel decided to devote her time and talents to her own business, and ELEGANT KITCHENS BY DESIGN was born.

It's there that Rachel custom-designs kitchens for new homeowners, as well as those looking to remodel their present kitchens...offering quality Wellborn cabinetry, along with granite, quartz, Corian, Staron, and laminate countertops.

Rachel Leo knows that the kitchen is the "heart" of a home and is a great investment, especially now, when housing values are a concern across the country. Plus, Rachel designs kitchens that are as functional as they are beautiful...kitchens which fit the lifestyles of her customers.

ELEGANT KITCHENS BY DESIGN represents a continuation of the Weinheimer legacy and the family members who carried it forward for more than a century...from founder John Weinheimer, to Carl, Al, and Ron, who succeeded him.
