Meyers and Kloch cost Somerset more Money.

Mr. Meyers shows his true colors once again, He is anti-Town attorney and continues to undermine the intersts of the Town Residents in fighting the lawsuits filed by AES and he continues to undermine the fight against the "illegal" AES tax cut PILOT.

The legal case and why the motion was filed was explained at the last Town meeting.

The Reason given was to save on legal fees and to get the case to the appeals court as soon as posible; Saving on Lawyer bills has been a concept that Meyers has been harping on at the exclusion of many other important matters. A two week hearing on the facts in the case will go forward. A hearing on facts that are already submitted in affadavits and will only cost more money and not allow any new information.

Judge Kloch has also (improperly) commented and shown he has already prejudged the case in AES's favor without updating himself on the current facts, current assessments or current Law. it is much simpler to send the case forward to appeal without any further hearing days.

Judge Kloch has already shown grounds for the filing of judicial complaints in this case. IMHO

Personal conversations with George Maziarz revealed from his own mouth that he is all for AES Power Corperation not paying taxes and expressed the thought they should be tax exempt. AES earned more than $190,000,000 in profits in calendar year 2006, assistance from George Maziarz and the Niagara County Industrial Agency gaurantee even greater profits in 2007, at Niagara County Taxpayers expense. AES is nothing more than a predatory financial terrorists organization preying financially on Niagara County citizens with the aid of George Maziarz and the Niagara County IDA.

Wouldn't changing attorneys in the middle of a court case effectively hand the victory to AES? How could a new attorney get up to speed and represent the true interests of the Town and School district voters and tax payers in this case? Does Mr. Meyers understand this? Wouldn't this be tantamount to throwing the legal investment already made, down the drain. Talk about waste!!! As my grandfather would ask, "Is this being penny wise and pound foolish"?
