New Year Resolutions. Happy New Year 2008!
My Niagara County Manager's New Year Resolutions for 2008 are a mere handful but hopefully by reason of their scarcity will more likely be kept.
As 2008 is the Year of the Rat under the Chinese New Year, the qualities attributed via the Chinese zodiac to the Rat will abound, namely ambition and hard work.
Resolve, Niagara County will pursue an ambitious agenda loaded with hard work to support Niagara communities developing a first ever comprehensive plan;
Resolve, Niagara County will once again improve over and above its past efforts to file a 2009 Budget to best serve the County communities and citizens;
Resolve, Niagara County will propose a long-term capital plan to centralize and make more cost efficient and effective its facilities to best serve the County communities and citizens; and so
Resolve let's tak' a cup of kindness for auld lang syne to recommit ourselves to best efforts to serve the County communities and citizens.
