Gold & Silver Over Niagara Coin Show Comes To Town

NIAGARA FALLS, NY -- More than one million dollars worth of collectible coins will be in Niagara Falls for the 2nd annual Gold & Silver Over Niagara as hundreds of coin dealers from across the country display their rare coins, stamps and currency. The public is invited to browse and attend educational workshops throughout the coin show being held Friday, April 4 and Saturday, April 5 from 10:00 am - 5:00pm and Sunday, April 6 from 10:00 am- 3:00pm.

Sponsored by the Buffalo Numismatic Association and the Niagara Frontier Coin CLub, the coin show will be held at the Conference Center Niagara Falls located at 101 Old Falls Street across from Seneca Niagara Casino. Admission to the event is 1 Dollar and free to boy scouts and girl scouts who wear their uniforms. The event will feature free appraisals, exhibits, and a scouting seminar for boys and girls looking to acquire their coin collecting badge. Presentations by Patti Finner, vice-president American Numismatic Association board of governors, will be held throughout the weekend, including clinics on U.S. state quarters, presidential dollars and coin collecting for families.
