Buffalo.com would like to welcome you to attend our latest educational session, Tell It Like It Is: Citizen Journalism and You on Wednesday, May 14 at 7 PM at The Buffalo News Building, 1 News Plaza, Buffalo, NY. Admission is free and open to the public.

Tell It Like It Is will discuss the impact and importance of citizen journalism in the face of a media world that is changing and evolving at a tremendous rate.

We hope to show firsthand the ways in which members of the community can use the web as a powerful tool to report information from their own lives and their own communities while offering opinions and analysis, sharing images and video, andinformation unavailable from other sources.

Guest speakers will include:

- Marc Odien, co-founder, WNYMedia.net;

- Melinda Miller, web administrator, Buffalo News

- Gregory Lewis, Niagara County Administrator and YourHub blogger;

- Bob Kuebler, Youth With A Purpose director and YourHub blogger;

- Jim McCoy, photographer, Buffalo News.
