Town Course???

I am a golfer. Maybe not a very good one, but I really enjoy playing. My favorite course is Sheridan Park. What I am mad about is the inability to go there and play as often as I would like to on the weekend. Between all the outings on Sunday mornings and the tee times made ahead of time, it makes it very difficult to get on the course.
Sure, they have several ways to get discounted play, but first you have to be able to get on.
2 years ago I bought the tee time reservation card. What a joke. Half the time you can't get through and then when you do, all that is left are the later times.
Buying a membership is outrageous. It's a public course, not a country club. I would have to go twice as much as I usually do in a season to make it worth my while. Where's the plus in that?
And then where is the justification in charging the same at Brighton as Sheridan. That course should be half the price and the place where the golf outings should be. Leave the nice course to the golfers and not the hackers.
Last but not least, what is with those course rangers. Get some guys with a little enthusiasm. The continued SLOW play is ridiculous. Nobody ever gets out there and gets things moving, especially when there is an outing and you happen to follow it. You can count on at least a 5 hour round.
If things don't change next year, I know several people who won't be going there anymore.
