Les Robinson of the Northwoods Agency and his guest will be Robyn Wiktorski-Reynolds ,LMSW of Crisis Services and she will talk on October being Domestic Violence prevention month. The theme of the TV show will be how to be free of Domestic Violence. Robyn will review key signs of Domestic Violence in this part of the TV show. The signs range from isolation to sexual abuses. Robyn will review how her agency helps stop Domestic Violence around Western New York with education and special programs. She will also explain why these signs are not easy to recognize. She will explain how the abuser controls the victim's life.

Robyn explains how families and friends can help a victim to become free of domestic Violence. Robyn explains why you should be educated before you try to help a victim. She explains the public lack of understanding what the victim has gone through. Why the victims act the way they do. Robyn also explains when the victim is giving out signs of their problem. Why these signs are only the tip of the iceberg. Robyn explains what the correct questions to a victim are. Robyn reviews the 9 keys points in helping a victim of domestic Violence to get there personal freedom and life back from the abuser. Robyn reviews the 12 principles that can apply when a battered woman shares her story of abuse with you. Why you should not try to control the victim life when helping the victim. What can go wrong when a person or family is trying to help, and is not doing the correct things in helping the victim.

Robyn explains the purpose of the PURPLE BOW. The purple bow is in supporting the end of Domestic Violence. In the month of October if you would wear a purple bow, this will do three things. The three reasons are to show support and understanding for victims of Domestic Violence. The second this is to make the public award that Domestic Violence is a major problem in relationships today. The third item is to show the abuser who live out in the public, that people are supportive of putting an end to Domestic Violence.

The book Domestic Violence "Finding Safety & Support" is a guide for victims and friends of Domestic Victims, this book was used in both parts of the TV series, and was a very useful resource in making these TV shows.
