The CastellaniArt Museum of Niagara University announces that First Fridays have been transformed into a new seasonal, themed event called Mixers at the CAM. People who have enjoyed First Fridays for the past five years will find many of the same reasons to come to the museum - live music, dancing, full cash bar, complimentary refreshments, great raffles and door prizes. New this year, each event will have a seasonal theme, and the museum has booked some terrific bands. Admission is free for Castellani Art Museum members, $5 for non-members. All Mixers run from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m.
The first Mixer is scheduled for Friday, October 17, 2008.
"Beetle-mania!" takes its theme from the giant inflatable beetle sculpture that is the centerpiece of the exhibition
Max Streicher: Metamorphosis. You won't want to miss the opportunity to dance with the big bug to Beatles music performed by
The BBC Band.
