UB Recognizes Health Career Courses Offered to High Schools
Williamsville, NY (October 7, 2008) - The University of Buffalo's health professions program facilitated a group of visiting college students and professors from Brazil with a tour of American medical science facilities. On the itinerary: Erie 1 BOCES high school programs. The group of 12 visitors from Brazil visited the Harkness Career & Technical Center in Cheektowaga and then called on a BOCES class at Kaleida's Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital in Williamsville. Erie 1 BOCES Connections class is an advanced health careers exploratory program for area high school seniors based at the hospital.
