Blog Entry 65 of 124 Somewhere Between Here and There
What runs through the mind of a 30 something married man with 5 kids a good job a huge comic book collection, an impressive DVD collection, nearly every movie stub from every movie he's seen since Back to the Future; topped off with a mind filled with endless movie quotes, dabbling in theology, a continuous pursuit of being a professional artist while taking a stab at being a writer? Stay Tuned...

Monday Night Raw Comes to Buffalo!
Contributed by: John Kindelan   on 12/18/2007

The number one cable television program was broadcasted live from the HSBC arena last night with a massive attendance and a very enthusiastic crowd.

The night started out with much happiness to all the men in the crowd with a Diva's Santa's Little Helper4 on 4 tag team match. It was what it sounds like, a pure cheesecake match, it had its funny moments, but it was there just to get the crowd going and it worked.

It was immediately followed up by Vince McMahon entering the ring and whining about how he was treated on last weeks show. The crowd methim with a booming chant of a word thats not very appropriate toput here in this blog. Lets just say part of the word is"hole". This was afunny bit, Vince having a mental breakdown after Jeff Hardy comes out to tell him he was treated so poorly because he treats everyone else so poorly. Which then had Triple H coming out to the ring totry and cheer him up, in a way that actually made him feel worse, but still funny for the crowd.

This led into our first match of HHH vs. Jonathan Coachman and William Regal, aone sided match. Even though'The Game' was out numbered there was never any question of him winning the bout.

The rest of the night we saw a WORLD TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH: Hardcore Holly and Cody Rhodes vs. Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch, Rhodes and Holly suprisingly pulled off a pin and retained the titles.

Rick Flair found himself in a match with Umaga, the Samoan bulldozer. The stipulation right now is, the next time Flair looses he has to retire. Flair won via Count out when Umaga smashed himself through the baracade after missing a tackle to Flair.

Then it happened, the man who had been gone from wrestling for 2 years, and for the life of me I can't remember him being here in Buffalo entered the ring. Chris Jericho, Y2J. Last night WWE had a pay per view andJericho had a title shot against Randy Orton and was just about to win when Smackdown announcer JBL John Bradshaw Layfield entered the ring and kicked him in the head. Jericho was not dressed to wrestle he was only there to address the situation of what had happened the night before. JBL appeared live 'via satelite' on the Titan Tron to go back and forth with Jericho in a verbal battle. This is all leading to the return to JBL to the ring.

I dont want to go into a complete run down of what happened all night as far as matches go, but I have to say it was one of the better Raw shows we've seen in a while. The Buffalo crowd was fantastic and really once again stole part of the show. Me, my wife and my kids all had a fantastic time and can't wait for the show to come back again. Nothing beats a WWE show live.
