Anna Lawrence, a second grader at Smallwood Drive Elementary School, won 1st place in the K-4th grade category of the National Environmental Education Week Wildlife Explorations photo contest. Her photo of a Canada Goose entitled: Trilling, Croaking, and Honking-Oh My! "Our guide-a Canada Goose!" was taken at Reinstein Woods Nature Preserve during a National Environmental Education Week program in April.

A regularparticipant in many of the public programs at Reinstein Woods, Anna is sure to take manymore wildlife photos. Congratulations Anna!

National Environmental Education Week is designed to enhance the educational impact of Earth Day celebrations by creating a full week of educational preparedness in K-12 classrooms, nature centers, zoos, parks, and museums.
