Perry’s Introduces Ryan Miller's Ice Cream

Buffalo, N.Y. - February 28, 2008 - A sudden rush down the ice, the opponents race to score, Miller takes a deep breath... he scoops his glove to the left then to the right... ANOTHER SAVE BY MILLER!!! Ryan Miller fans can now indulge in a piece of the excitement at home with Breakaway Berrier, a flavor created by Perry's Ice Cream, Buffalo's regional ice cream company located in Akron, N.Y.

Breakaway Berrier is inspired by Buffalo Sabres goalie, Ryan Miller's favorite flavors: premium dark chocolate ice cream with swirls of raspberry and fudge chunks.
The flavor is packaged in a striking container emblazoned in Sabres colors, a photo of Miller with his Sabres #30 insignia and The Steadfast Foundation emblem.

Miller fans can indulge in Breakaway Berrier and show their Sabres loyalty while helping out the local community with every purchase. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of Breakaway Berrier will benefit The Steadfast Foundation, a not-for-profit organization created by Miller that is dedicated to assisting those affected and afflicted by cancer. Miller, who is represented by Octagon, launched The Steadfast Foundation in 2006 and has since touched the lives of so many who are battling the disease.

"I'm thrilled to partner with such an established company like Perry's Ice Cream," said the All-Star goalie. "They are truly committed to playing an active role in the local community and many families will benefit from the money raised from the sales of Breakaway Barrier."

Breakaway Berrier can be scooped up at retail locations across Western New York starting in March.

Breakaway Berrier is the latest Perry's flavor in the Sabres lineup, Top Shelf Sundae was created to commemorate the Sabres in 2006 and Perry's also introduced Sabre Sundae, now known as Butterscotch Sundae, in the early 1980s. Perry's is the "Official Ice Cream" of the Buffalo Sabres.
