PAL/Mark Williams Memorial Tournament Dates Set

The 2nd annual Niagara Police Athletic league/Mark "Chief" Williams Memorial Basketball Tournament will be held April 20, 21 and 22, 2007.

There will be five playing brackets, boys and girls divisions: grades 5/6; garde 7; grade 8; grades 9/10; grades 11/12. The competition will be conducted at Niagara University, Niagara Falls High School and NIagara Catholic High School. Eighty-one teams from New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Ohio and Ontario participated in the inaugural event in 2006. Entry fee is $125 per team with a two game guarantee. New York State High School basketball rules are in effect with some tournament exceptions.

Openings still exist in all gender and grade divisions; the entry deadline is April 11, 2007. To obtain registration and roster forms go to www.niagarapal.com. For additional information call Tournament Director Sal Constantino at (716) 228-7916 or the NIagara PAL office at (716) 286-7038.
