Lets give the corporate wolves billions!

Today's news reports that President Bush and Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson have a plan to bail out the banks and financial institutions and it could cost the US taxpayers a couple hundred billion dollars.
Are they kidding us? Our government is considering writing practically blank checks to the corporate institutions who are bankrupting this country.
Thus far, there appears to be no regulations that require responsibility. There is no stopping the corporate executives from paying themselves millions of dollars in salaries and retirements. Remember, they get paid before they go under.

I am not certain my complaining is going to stop the governments bail out, but I can suggest two things that should be required.

1) Require that the money go specifically to dissolving the
mortgages themselves. Meaning, give relief to the tax payer not the
corporation.
2) Institute new regulations which would include executive salaries.

You may think both of these actions are anti-capitalistic, but I feel that once the
government steps in, this corporation or market is no longer independent.
and should not steal from the people again.

The wolves are guarding the henhouse. When they are done eating all the chickens and cry hungry, we don't fill up the henhouse again.
