Father of the year

Men and women meet and fall in love, they marry and build a family together. Unfortunally sometimes they may realize they are not happy together, althought they seem to have all they can wish for, they are simply not happy with eachother and something really important is missing. They never stop being mother and father, just like they don't stop being lawyers or doctors, they just stop being husband and wife...
Well, at least that's how it should be...it would definetely be much easier and make much more sense: mom and dad become friends and just move in two different houses, but put their strength and time off together for the kids they love so much.
Unfortunally emotions play a big role in divorces, and some men really can't deal with these situation. But I know a man I'd like to raise a glass for: in two years of separation never had his kids miss anything even if they moved so far away; he was always sweet and helpful and made sure to support both his ex-wife and kids; he was fair and just and made a lot of sacrifices to give his kids as much as he could, even sold his house and got a second job! He also divorced quickly and painlessly with his wife to make everything as simple and easy as possible...you may ask: what has he earned?
Afriend who will always welcome him around her and his kids, and two happy proud children who trust him and look him up, regardless the separation.
