More than 1000 Webkinz homeless

It wasn't until an accidental glance through a glass window at Raff & Friends at the Eastern Hills Mall did i realize I was walking by one of the largest Webkinz homeless stuffed animal shelters in Western New York. There were not only a couple hundred of these little cute animals on the counters and shelves, but more still in their cardboard box homes. I had to stop in to see for myself. Store owner Kim Nelson explained that she is currently taking care of over 1000 Webkinz and all are looking for a home. Raff & Friends has been a destination to find Webkinz for over a year now at this location. She predicts with her new prices starting at $8.99 they will all find a home by the end of September.
Aside from her enormous Webkinz collection, I stumbled on the most amazing brain games and puzzles for all ages. I even came across a rare find of locker ladders which have been virtually extinct in the Western New York area.
I wandered the store for about 20 minutes thinking of all the giftsI planned to purchase this holiday season. By the time my hour glass emptied and it was time to leave, I already had three things i just had to have. One of them will no longer be homeless.
