Cover the Uninsured Week (April 27-May 3), Univera Community Health is offering free eligibility screenings for uninsured people who need help finding a health plan that is right for them.
Univera Community Health representatives will be at Erie County locations in next week helping people determine whether they are eligible for government-sponsored health insurance programs - such as Family Health Plus, Child Health Plus, Healthy New York and Medicaid Managed Care.
The Univera Community Health representatives, after evaluating individuals' eligibility, can also help people complete the necessary paperwork. Appointments are not needed.
