Overview of Special Education
How much do you know about special education?
• Gain a better understanding of the special education system.
• Know what to expect at a Committee on Special Education
(CSE)/Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE) meeting.
• Understand the roles of the CSE/CPSE members.
• Learn how to help develop an Individualized Education Plan (IEP).
• Walk away with tips on being an effective parent member of the
CSE/CPSE.
The more you know the better you can advocate for students with a disability.
