Western New York Skateboarding Foundation receives IRS Approval

The Western New York Skateboarding Foundation was recently approved by the IRS as a 501C3 not-for-profit status entity. The sole skateboard foundation in New York State, WNYSF is established to provide underprivileged individuals with skateboard equipment, instruction and session time utilizing the existing Xtreme Wheels Indoor Skate Park. College bound participants are eligible to apply for scholarship opportunities.

According to WNYSF Executive Director, Virginia Clark "This could not have happened at a better time. With the current depressed state of the economy, we will be able to provide a valuable resource to individuals that would otherwise not be able to participate in the ever popular sport of skateboarding. Xtreme Wheels Indoor Skate Park is the only indoor skate park in Western New York; it makes great sense to team up with WNYSF."

The President of WNYSF, Teri Bognar, states that just $10 can enable an individual to skate for unlimited ride time in a safe and supervised environment at Xtreme Wheels Indoor Skate Park. Tax deductible donations can be made to The Western New York Skateboard Foundation, 356 Hertel Avenue, Buffalo, New York 14207.

WNYSF will not discriminate by age, race, color, national origin, disability, creed, or gender. For more information, visit www.xtreme-wheels.com or stop at, 356 Hertel Avenue, Buffalo, New York 14207.

Mission Statement
Unifying individuals, improving fitness, developing self confidence, educating with skateboard instruction, providing equipment and scholarship opportunities to qualified individuals in a non discriminatory environment is our sole purpose.
