Good Luck To Steve Christie!
Contributed by: Denny Lynch   on 3/7/2008

Former Buffalo Bills placekicker Steve Christie announced his official retirement from professional football recently. Christie played nine years for the Billsand holds at least five Bills' club kicking records. Truly one of the "good guys" in sports, Steve has been an outstanding supporter of Camp Good Days and Special Times, a camp for children with Cancer and other catastrophic diseases. He raised tens of thousands of dollars for the camp during his playing days and continues to be involved as the chairman of their annual golf tournament in Rochester each summer.
During his playing career, Steve developed his artistic talents and had several displays of his artwork at various galleries in the area. Since his retirement from the NFL in 2005 (he played for San Diego and NY Giants after leaving Buffalo), he has increased his painting and is considered a rising star in the artistic community.
Steve and his wife Kelly live in Ellicottville, NY where Kelly is a successful Real Estate salesperson.
