Upcoming Summer Camp Combines Jesus and Music

Salter's Christian Music of Buffalo is currently accepting registrants for its "Vessels of Worship: Youth Music Camp," to be held July 21-26, 2008,at Rochester's Roberts Wesleyan College. Students, ranging in age from 7 to 25, will choose from the following tracks: choir; drum core; dance; band/orchestra; sound and stage lighting; or videography. Registration includes room and board, as well as meals. In addition to music rehearsals, sports, and spiritual instruction, the week-long camp will culminate in a live CD/Video recording to be distributed internationally after the camp is finished. Students will then have the opportunity to take what they learned at camp and perform live at several area malls and other venues in the months to follow.

The camp is "multi-cultural," "non-denominational," and "Spirit-filled." Interestingly, camp attracts young people from rural, suburban, and city areas. Camp is not for the faint of heart-- it's intense, musically and spiritually, and is truly meant for young people who take their relationship with Jesus Christ seriously and wholeheartedly.

World-famous Gospel music artist/producer Kurt Carr, from Los Angeles, is scheduled to perform on Thursday night of camp, which is sure to inspire those in attendance.

Note: There will be a special Youth Music Day Camp for kids ages 4-6, from 7:30am - 5pm the same week--please call Salter's Christian Music for information ($50 earlybird discount does not apply to this camp).

Call Salter's Christian Music at 716-882-1876 today to ask about the earlybird registration cost for those ages 7-25, as the cost goes up after March 1st, and also call to receive a registration form in the mail. Do it today, as there's only room for 200 students and slots go fast! Upstate New Yorkers AND Canadians are encouraged to attend.
