Kingdom Bound Ministries has held an annual Christian music festival at Darien Lake Theme Park Resort, halfway between Buffalo and Rochester, New York, for more than two decades. Now in its 21 st year with 65,000 people in attendance over the course of four days, Kingdom Bound 2007 will bring together some of today's most popular Christian pop, rock, and modern worship artists, including Casting Crowns, TobyMac, Newsboys, Chris Tomlin, and David Crowder, among many others, for this summer's festival, to be held August 5-8, 2007, at Darien Lake Theme Park Resort in Darien Center, New York.

In previous years, Kingdom Bound hosted live talent search competitions in select cities in the U.S. and Canada to win a slot to play at the festival and other prizes. This year, however, the talent search is exclusively online, through a partnership with Artist Ovation. "Kingdom Bound is keeping up with the times. For less than $200, a singer or band can have one of their original songs posted online for music fans to listen to and rate," says Mark Weber, of ChristianMusicDaily.com. The highest rated artist gets to play the Kingdom Bound festival this summer, and be entered into another competition with the chance to win an artist development agreement with Word Label Group."

Kingdom Bound, one of North America's largest and longest running events of its kind, is excited about its partnership with Artist Ovation, to find new Christian talent. Already, artists from New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Ontario, Canada, have entered the competition, with more entries expected in the weeks to come.
