This is just simply one of the best quotes I've read in a long time. It sums up so much of whatI feel and believe and try to communicate (and especially what I've been going through lately) to others. There's this cool website called Beliefnet.com and I honestly have no idea how I ended up on their e-list but I'm glad I did because they have a quote a day that always makes me think, and have many essays by famous speakers and the one chosen for each day always somehow has something to do with my plight or that of someone around me. It's just a cool site to check out if you have a moment- some things are religiously based, some just spiritual, and some just self-help and common sense. But anyways- here's the quote that really got me today.
Great occasions do not make heroes or cowards; they simply unveil them to the eyes. Silently and imperceptibly, as we wake or sleep, we grow strong or we grow weak, and at last some crisis shows us what we have become.
