Blog Entry 6 of 7 Living in Amherst: One Woman's Guide

Stop by often for updates on fun (hopefully inexpensive!) activities in the Amherst area. In addition to offering ideas for thigns to do, I will review events that I have attended myself. As I am a freelance writer at home with my three children, I will try to include as many family-friendly activities as I can.

As we leave this holiday season behind, I am filing away the memories we created. I will remember wedding dress shopping with my sister-in-law. I will remember coloring Easter eggs with my kids. I will remember laughing hysterically with my pastor before our Easter service. But, most of all, I will remember seeing my kids with their grandparents.

My husband and I are lucky enough to live close to both sets of parents. This means that our children know and are close to all of their grandparents. I don't think there is any greater gift than seeing pictures of these moments and I will treasure them forever.

I am so proud of myself for uploading all of our holiday pictures onto my computer already! Enjoy the moment I have included of my younger daughter with her grandfather. Happy Easter!
