The Consequences of Using Credit

First of all I am a youth counselor that works with mostly with inner city children. Most goal is to help these youth become responsible adults. I just rented movie "Maxed Out which talks about the consequences of using credit. I feel it is a must see movie, especially for our youth the need to know the possible dangers of using credit cards. Most of us have felt the pain of going over our credit limit or even missing a payment, but this movie goes even farther about what else can happen if we cannot control our spending habits. There are stories about people who lives have be destroyed because of over extending their credit. I am hoping to raise money to have this director speak to the youth I work with. Along with teaching children about the facts of life we also need to educate them about the proper use of credit as well as how to saw money and how to budget. You can find this movie at Blockbuster.

The sometimes Dire Consequences of Credit Use

I myself as a adult am still learning about how use credit the right way. I have experience almost dire consequences myself and wish I could have be wiser myself. I very distressed that the poor are the ones the credit industry targets the most.
