Went for a walk in Reinstein Woods this morning and signs of spring are everywhere! Everywhere! The Canada geese are already fighting for territory on the ice covered ponds. The male red-winged blackbirds are setting up their territories. The chipmunks are out and about checking things out. Everything is a flutter with renewed energy. The spring equinox is next week. We're celebrating with an evening walk on March 20th. Check out our programs for more info if you are interested. If you do anything today - March 13, 2007 - get outside! Soak up some vitamin D and renew yourself. If you can't get into the woods, take a walk around your neighborhood. Take a deep breath and feel the air. It's so great!
