LGYBS - Lost batting cages in Oct. storm
Contributed by: john kenyon   on 12/11/2006

Lou Gehrig Youth Baseball and Softball is looking for community support. This fall, our batting cages were severely damaged by the snow storm and need to be replaced. Since the Town of Amherst no longer aids ball parks with capital improvements, we are forced to raise this money through fundraising, sponsorship and donations. Lou Gehrig has been a growing non-profit volunteer organization for over 30 years and thanks to hundreds of parents and local business support, we continue to be one of the largest baseball and softball organizations in western New York with enrollment of over 1400 children. Without batting cages for our children, player development will be difficult to say the least.

If you or your business are interested in helping out, please contact John Kenyon at 716-316-7097 or JohnK@contemporaryfurniture.com

Thank you for your consideration!
