Email Marketing - Getting with the Times

In my industry, it is crucial to stay on top of technology. As a small business owner, I am constantly looking for ways to deliver important travel related information and specials to my clients. Peoplewho have booked their travel through me in the past, as well as potential new customers have given me favorable response when receiving my emails. Interests are sparked when new information arrives at their desktop, along with up-to-date travel specials. As a consumer, I would want to know that the person I am doing business with is "up on the times" and not working in an antiquated environment.

If you network within the business community, it is important that you be able to share your products and services with other business owners you meet. If your email marketing becomes bothersome to them, it is quite possible that these individuals are not serious about growing his or her business, which is what netowrking is all about. In addition, the recipient always has the option of "unsubscribing" to your emails if they so desire.

Service is still the key element in running a successful business. Combine that service with both business and personal experience in the field, resources, contacts and the latest technology and you should be confident that you are working with a professional. Technology is not going away - if you don't keep up with it, you WILL be left behind.
