We all know that the Buffalo Bisons affiliation with Cleveland is coming to an end after this season, and talk has centered on Washington, the NY Mets and Toronto as the new parent club. Sources tell me that the decision has been made and the Bisons will hook up with the Blue Jays. I'm also hearing that a regular season Blue Jays game could be played at Dunn Tire Park. That would be pretty cool.
My first choice would have been the Mets, for purely selfish reasons. My three brothers and I are all Mets fans. Must be some rare birth defect. Maybe my mother smoked while she was carrying us.
Speaking of the Mets, I caught their games Saturday and Sunday in Pittsburgh. What a beautiful stadium! If I can find my camera, I'll try to post some photos later this week.
Any thoughts on the Bisons-Blue Jays affiliation? Should we be surprised that it comes on the heels of the Bills-Toronto agreement? Any connection?
